ST. PATRICK'S DAY...LUCK OF THE IRISH

ST. PATRICK........THE LEGEND
Legend has it that St. Patrick was born in
Scottland or Wales around 370 A.D. and his
given name was Maeywn Succat.
THE SHAMROCK..........
The green shamrock (aka:trefoil) is the national symbol
of Ireland. The ancestors of modern Irish people (aka:druids)
believed in the holiness of the shamrock due to a sacred
symbol formed by it's 3 leaves.
The number 3 has great representation in other
religions also. To christians, it's 3 leaves form a cross
and serve to represent the Trinity.
A TRADITIONAL BLESSING..........
For each petal in the shamrock
This brings a wish your way
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY
