Pass It On
So it is a new year, wich brings new priorty's and new resolutions. With every ending there is a begenning. So , I think we should all set a goal or two for our selves. What if one of our goals was to stop" World Hunger" or what if our goal was to stop "Domestic Violence". If we all set these goals or limitations for our selves our world just might be a better place. Cherish each day, because God, has blessed you with the ability to give and recieve. But we more often, recieve, so we should take the time and reflect on the past year, and think about what God has blessed us with, and what God want's us to pass on to others. May we all be "Blessed" each and every day of "2009"

GIVING THANKS!!!
Thanksgiving Day is a day wich we should probably celebrate every day. If you stop and think about what we should thinkful for, there is an awful lot. First we should thank God for our strength and our health, We should thank our Military for our "Freedom," and Our Constitution to speek freely, and to live how we wish. And that our country has finally realized that there is no difference between "BLACK and WHITE"!!! We should continue to give God thanks each and every day. But most of all Happy Thanksgiving To All!!!

Election Day
Today is the biggest day in our nations history, the count down to see if America elects it's first "black president", or if we will have our first ever "woman vice-president". I am proud to have taken part in voting today. As we each go to the voting poll our voice or opionin is being heard. I just want to say best of luck to both Presidential parties, as they both talk of change, change is already being made. They now have a page in history! But change will come no matter who wins the election. the world must change. Good Luck!!

Black Gold
Painfully enough, today the price of a barrel of oil topped out at a whopping price of $132.00. When is it ever going to stop. If you have any part in the oil trade, then your as good as Gold! For an example; Have you ever heard of a man named"Boone Pickens," He is an oil Tycoon and an Oklahoma State University Alumni. Today, this man donated $100million dollars to the University. When just three years ago he donated $178million. Now Mr. Pickens is definately showing his wealth from this black gold that seems to be getting more costly everday. If these people in the oil trade are getting that rich, then I don't think it will hurt them to let up on our pocket books just a little! If there is going to be any giving back, then let's see it at the PUMP!!!

American Idol
So now we are down to the wire. Tonight David Archuletta gave the perfomance of a life time, he sang his little heart out. He took the stage, and sang like he was already the star. I think that David Archuletta has this one in the bag. David Cook will get a record deal no matter what. But as for Archuletta, he deserves the "American Idol" title. Both David's are superstars!! Good Luck to both of you!!!

American Idols
"The Boy Wonder" delivers a double blow tonight. Both performances were outstanding. At the age of only 17, David Archuletta, is on his way to stardom. He has shown with each performance that he has style and class. Most of all , he has soul. In my opinion, Jason Castro gave his last perfomance tonight on American Idol. As for David C. and Syesha , they better be on their best game. My vote goes to David Archuletta!

PRESCRIPTION ADDICTION
In 2006, the National Institute For Drug Abuse conducted a survey of prescription drug use and results showed that 16.2 million americans age 12 and older had taken prescription pain relievers, tranquilizers, stimulants, or sedatives for non medical purposes, at least once in the year prior to the survey.
In my opinion, this is a heartbreaking statistic, but yet a reality. Changes need to be made... even 1 life is worth saving!
Changes to help prevent drug use and abuse among pre-teens, teens, and even young adults require a strong family connection and support network, reframing from negativety, developing positive interaction techniches with the focus on the present not the past.
EDUCATION on ADDICTION and RECOVERY is the 'key' for all members involved, and the desire to help set boundaries for the 'addict' without enabling previous behavior and choices.
The problem with addtion is that it's not just confined to the addict only, become aware and educate yourself.
WORRY.....LOOKS AROUND
SORRY......LOOKS BACK
FAITH.....LOOKS AHEAD AND NEVERS GIVES UP
